Nepal Samajwadi Party on its first convention held in Magh 2081, arranged the Out of Country voting system for the migrant living abroad.
Eligible voters from diaspora committees in countries including India, Hong Kong, Dubai, Kuwait, Croatia, Australia, the United States, Japan, Malaysia, and Korea participated in the process of electing the party leadership.
Everyone voted using a unique code sent to their individual emails, through their Gmail accounts. According to newly elected Vice Chairperson Manushi Yami Bhattarai, around 40 to 50 representatives cast their votes from abroad.
